{"id":4053,"date":"2024-04-08T17:45:33","date_gmt":"2024-04-08T17:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ditext.com\/wordpress\/?p=4053"},"modified":"2024-11-29T14:23:50","modified_gmt":"2024-11-29T14:23:50","slug":"gaza-and-genocide-deniers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ditext.com\/wordpress\/2024\/04\/08\/gaza-and-genocide-deniers\/","title":{"rendered":"Gaza and Genocide Deniers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In my opinion, of all the scholars of the Palestinian-Israeli relations that  I know, Norman Finkelstein is the best informed and the most reasonable in his recommendations &#8212; which are to follow the international law, the United  Nations resolutions. and to pay attention to human rights watchdogs &#8212; like Amnesty International. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I agree with him, and I also agree with the International Court of Justice  that a plausible case can be made that a genocide is taking place in Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the ICJ finding in mind, I have watched various debates on this issue on Youtube, taking note on who affirms and who denies that a genocide is taking place in Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most scholarly debate on Youtube is the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Israel-Palestine Debate: Finkelstein, Destiny, M.
