Compare what he says to what Noam Chomsky says!"},"content":{"rendered":"\nIn determining the worth of some claim, one can either rely on one&#8217;s own critical powers, and\/or try to use as a &#8220;benchmark&#8221; the views of some highly respected intellectual. Do a comparison of views.\n\n<p> \n\nWell, there is someone out there on the internet who is using the views of Noam Chomsky as the benchmark to compare the views of currently fashionable people &#8212; what can I call them? &#8212; celebrities?. I must confess that I have a systematic hard time understanding Zizek.
